Enspec are one of the UK’s leading independent specialists in power quality engineering. As reliable power, grid code compliance, and grid connections experts, the company supports clients to maximise the efficiency of their power systems and help large energy users reduce their GHG emissions.
Support developing a carbon reduction tool
Our North Hub, Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU) are supporting Enspec to develop a tool that will help businesses understand where’s best to focus expenditure when they’re trying to reduce the carbon emissions.
University research teams will also contribute to climate awareness and education events, translating what new net-zero policies will mean for large energy users.
Mara Rastall from Enspec said:
“Enspec has been impressed with the Clean Growth UK team at LJMU. As a company that’s passionate about sustainability and clean energy, we knew we would need support to navigate new country-wide goals and targets and to ensure we could assist our clients with the most up to date research, particularly as new policies are established. It’s with their help that we’ll be able to ensure the benefit of our collective expertise is maximised.”
Tony Seasman, Project Manager for Clean Growth UK at LJMU added:
“Enspec are an outward looking company who have taken their own carbon reduction experiences to help others. We are pleased to be supporting them with their collaborative endeavours.”
