Bust some climate myths and unpick climate jargon (carbon neutral vs net zero?), understand the business benefits of action on sustainability, learn about the risks, and have a stab at calculating your carbon footprint.
How can you drive down energy costs and help save the planet at the same time? 22 January 2024, 9.30am – 11.00am
From efficient equipment to behaviour change, what are the most impactful ways you can reduce energy use in your business? You’ll get an overview of energy efficiency technology, renewables, and costs/payback periods.
Building a workforce fit for a net zero future. 29 January 2024, 9.30am – 11.00am
What skills will businesses need as we transition to a net zero economy? This session covers the opportunities for upskilling your workforce and the initiatives available locally and nationally.
Each session will be interactive and include plenty of time for Q&A, so you can get your specific questions answered.
The sessions will be covered by two facilitators, a Clean Growth UK team member plus Adam Bastock, small business climate change expert and founder of Small99.
