Our South West Hub Greentech South, alongside Creative Bloom will be hosting a series of Marketing workshops designed to help environmentally-responsible SMEs nail their marketing strategy. As the climate emergency deepens, businesses need to adapt to survive and thrive. We’re here to help you do that.
The COVID-19 situation has also forced many businesses to consider how to improve their resilience, and many are exploring how they can reframe their marketing strategies and tactics. Selling online and utilising online tools will be crucial. We’ll help you get to grips with this changing landscape.
These workshops will be delivered virtually over FOUR highly informative and engaging sessions. You’ll cover:
Sessions 1-2: Friday 22 May, 9.30 – 12.30 and Friday 29 May 9.30 – 12.30
Delve deep into understanding what your customers want and how to put together a brand strategy which will influence your marketing.
- Marketing strategy ABC
- Customer profiling, market & competitive research.
- Brand Strategy and introduction of marketing campaign framework.
Sessions 3-4: Friday 5 June 9.30 – 12.30 and Friday 12 June 9.30 – 12.30
Build upon the strategies developed in Day 1 to create your own curated digital marketing campaign.
- How to develop a social media & outreach campaign and how to choose the best channels.
- Website and digital strategy, reporting and search engines.
Who’s it for?
This workshop is for Clean Growth UK members only and focused on developing clean and green business innovation. It’s for any SME leader in any sector who wants to do things differently and is developing new clean and green products, services or processes. We will have to check eligibility due to our funder’s criteria.
Only one delegate per organisation – if we have spare capacity we can allow an additional person – please request at time of booking.

How do we get this amazing support for free?
We are able to provide these workshops free of charge to businesses thanks to funding from Research England and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), through the ERDF project Low Carbon Solent. However full attendance is required as these workshops are very popular. Late cancellation (within 48 hours) or no shows may be charged for the cost of the workshop which is £300 per person as we will not be able to claim from our funder for your attendance.
